 An Act relative to funerals.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 85 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1996 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence:— The board shall not adopt and promulgate any rule or regulation prohibiting any person registered with said board or an agent or employee of a licensed funeral establishment from providing, handling or serving any food or liquid refreshments in connection with any burial or funeral.
