In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to health care records.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. SECTION 1. Section 12CC of Chapter 112 of the General

Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby

amended by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:—

For the purpose of this section the word “reasonable fee” shall

mean a fee of not more that twenty five cents per page of records,

and not more than twenty dollars per hour for clerical and administrative

expenses.

SECTION 2. Section 70 of Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as

appearing in the 1998 Official Edition is hereby amended by

adding at the end thereof the following sentence:—

For the purpose of this section the word “reasonable fee” shall

mean a fee of not more that twenty-five cents per page of records,

and not more that twenty dollars per hour of clerical and administrative

expenses.
