 An Act relative to the notification of mammographic examinations.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 184C the following section:-

 

                Section 184D.  A physician, health care facility or hospital ordering a mammographic examination for a patient shall notify said patient of the results of the examination no later than 96 hours of receiving the results of said examination.
