In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act to study the safety of political sign holders on public roadways .

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Joint Committee on Election Laws shall make recommendations in a report to local municipalities, political candidates and the Secretary of the Commonwealth on ways to improve the safety of political sign holders on public roadways.  Said report shall be completed by July 31st of year 2008.
