In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act to include call/volunteer firefighters on the Fire Service Commission.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 165B of Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition is hereby amended in line 4 by striking the word “six” and inserting in place thereof the following word:— “seven”.

SECTION 2. Said section 165B is hereby further amended in the first paragraph by inserting at the end thereof the following words:— , and one of whom shall be selected from a list of two names submitted by the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighters Association who holds the rank of firefighter or fire officer below the rank of Chief.
