An Act relative to the operation of small hoisting machinery. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The second paragraph of section 53 of chapter 146 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following words:― ; and provided, further, that the commissioner shall establish a category of light hoisting equipment, which shall include, but not be limited to, forklift trucks, pallet trucks and motorized hand trucks, which shall be exempt from the license requirements under this section.
