An Act relative to the University of Massachusetts police department.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   SECTION 1. Section 116 of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 43, after the word officers, the following

words, and the University of Massachusetts police officers

   SECTION 2. Section 116 A of said chapter 6 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting in line 15, after the word commission, the following words, University

of Massachusetts.

   SECTION 3. Section 116C of said chapter 6 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting in line 9, after the word department, appears the first time, the following

words, the University of Massachusetts.
