 An Act relative to smoke detectors.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Chapter 148 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 26F the following section:—
Section 26F½. All dormitories, fraternity houses and sorority houses shall be equipped with “hard-wired” smoke detectors, so-called, in all common hallway areas.
