In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act placing on call and volunteer firefighters on the fire service commission.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 165B of Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended in the first paragraph by striking the word “six” and inserting in place thereof the following word:— seven.

SECTION 2. Said section 165B is hereby further amended in the first paragraph by inserting at the end thereof the following words:— and one of whom shall be selected from a list of two names submitted by the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighters Association who holds the rank of firefighter or fire officer below the rank of Chief.
