In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act requiring police officers to wear white gloves while directing traffic.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 9 of chapter 89 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

The department of public safety shall promulgate rules and regulations requiring state and local police officers to wear white gloves while directing traffic.
