In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to jet skis.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 90B of the general laws, as most recently found in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 9B, the following new section:

 

                Section 9C.   Except for the provisions of section 45 of chapter 131, but not withstanding any general or special law or any rule or regulation to the contrary, waterskiing shall be permitted behind any jet ski which has been equipped at the time of manufacture with three seats providing room for a “spotter”, so called.
