 An Act relative to firearms.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Subsection (i) of section 131 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:- 

Any person 70 years or older and any law enforcement officer applying for a license to carry firearms through his employing agency shall be exempt from the requirement of paying a renewal fee for a Class A or Class B license to carry.
