In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION
1. Section Thirty-Seventh and One Half of chapter 71 of the Massachusetts
General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by
adding a new paragraph at the end thereof:—
“(3) At the request of the principal or headmaster of a school, or the
superintendent upon the issuance of a criminal complaint charging a student
with a felony or upon the issuance of a felony delinquency complaint against a
student, or upon a student being convicted of a felony or upon an adjudication
or admission in court of guilt with respect to such a felony or felony
delinquency, the district attorney or the state police or local police
department may provide a copy of such incident reports or police reports as
document the underlying offense.”
