In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to sick leave banks.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   Notwithstanding section 4P of chapter 7 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, any department or division of a state agency may, on their own initiative, create a sick leave bank among their own employees to provide relief for any of said employee who may have exhausted their own sick leave as the result of any debilitating illness or accident.
