An Act relative to creditable service.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

   4(1) (s) Credit shall be allowed to firefighters for employment rendered in the fire service of the United States Federal Government provided that they deposit into the annuity savings fund of the appropriate system amounts they would have contributed during the period of service credited.
