An Act establishing a career incentive pay program for fire fighters. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 41 of the General Laws, as
appearing in the 1996 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after
section 108L the following new section:—
Section 108L½. There is hereby established a career incentive pay program
offering base salary increases to regular full time members of various city and
town fire departments and various fire districts as a reward for furthering
their education in the field of fire science.
