In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the retirement of police officers and firefighters due to injury or illness.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

                That the Chapter be amended by striking Section (ii) and replacing with the following:-

 

                “A yearly amount of pension equal to seventy-two percent of the annual rate of the current wages paid by the city or town for police officers and/or firefighters.”
