In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act regulating unused sick leave payments.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary no employee of the commonwealth, a county, city or town or authority shall upon retirement or separation from such employment shall be paid for unused sick leave an amount in excess of $5,000.
