In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act providing health insurance coverage to the surviving children of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   Section 9C of chapter 32B and Section 9G of said chapter of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, are hereby amended by inserting, in lines 6 and 5, respectively, after the word “spouse” the following:— provided, however, dependents under age nineteen may continue such insurance notwithstanding the remarriage or death of said surviving spouse.
