In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act against restrictive residency requirements for Police and Fire Department members.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.

 

Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, strike all the words contained in Section 99A of Chapter 41 after the words “provided however” in the second sentence.
