 An Act providing for certain creditable service.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Subsection 1 of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:–

     (s)  Any member who served as an assistant district attorney on a non-contributing basis may establish credit for such service by depositing in the annuity savings fund of the system of which he is a member a sum equal to the amount that would have been deducted if he had received regular compensation during the period he so served.
