 An Act relative to labor relations.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Chapter 150E, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, shall be amended in section 6 by adding after the word “workload” in line 7 the following: “and in the case of fire and police personnel, shift manning levels.”

SECTION 2. Said chapter is further amended by adding at the end of section 7(B) the following:— no cost item agreed to and executed by the parties shall be deemed unenforceable once a negotiated collective bargaining agreement becomes effective by reason of the procedures set forth herein.
