In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act limiting rehiring of retirees.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provision of any general or special law to the contrary, any person who has accepted the provisions an early retirement incentive program from any state agency, county, town, district, city or authority shall be prohibited from being rehired in any capacity by such state agency, county, town, district, city or authority for a period of 2 years from the date of retirement.
