An Act relative to the construction of sound barriers.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Item 6010-0001 of section 2 of chapter 159 of the acts of 2000 is hereby amended by adding the following words:— ; and provided, further, that not more than $400,000 be expended for the design and construction of sound barriers along the eastbound lane of Route 9 adjacent to Hartford street in the town of Natick.
