 An Act Relative to Civil Service Examinations for Appointment as Police Officers.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

The second paragraph of section 58 of chapter 31 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-

 

No person shall be eligible to take an examination for original appointment to the position of police officer in any city or town if he will not have reached his 21st birthday on or before the date of examination.
