An Act concerning officers of county correctional facilities. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 18 of Chapter 126 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, officers of jails and houses of correction shall be paid an amount equal to that of officers of state correctional institutions holding similar positions in the comparable grade or classification.
