An Act relative to concurrent service for teachers retirement. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 32, Section 4 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after paragraph (j) the following: Credit shall be allowed for any additional contributions to the Annuity Fund not to exceed three years of payments made by a member of the School Teachers Retirement System for concurrent part-time employment by a governmental unit for which the employee was not eligible for membership in the appropriate retirement system during the period of such concurrent part-time employment for the purposes of calculating the member’s yearly amount of retirement allowance.
