An Act regulating the contracting of state service as it affects public employees.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 29A of chapter 29 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting the following language at the end of Subsection (1):—

The work or services to be provided under the contract are not of a kind currently provided by state employees or that the execution of the contract shall result in the replacement or displacement of current state employees.
