An Act Relative To Certain Creditable Service Of An Employee Of The Commonwealth. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary. Elizabeth Dorsey, an employee of the Department of Environmental Protection, shall be given full credit for retirement purposes for her prior service as an employee of the Department of Environmental Quality Engineering from May 23, 1984 through January 18, 1987; provided however, that she shall pay into the annuity savings fund of the state retirement system, an amount equal to the contribution she would have been required to pay, had she been a member of the retirement system at that time.
