 An Act relative to establishing the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head, Aquinnah, as a governmental unit for retirement purposes.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

    Section 2 of chapter 32B of the General Laws as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition is hereby amended in line 61 by inserting after the word “commonwealth” the following words:
    ”, and the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) a federally recognized Indian Tribe as referenced in 25 U.S. Code Section 1771 et. Seq.”
