An Act relative to retirement benefits .

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   Section 5 (2) a of Chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking in lines 97 and 98 the words “by such member during any period of three consecutive yeas of creditable service” and by striking in line 101 the words “three years” and insert in place thereof the words “twelve months”.
