An Act relative to retirement of Massachusetts Water Resources Authority e  mployees .

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, including the provisions of Chapter 372 of the Acts of 1984, all veterans, as defined in clause forty-third of section 7 of Chapter 4 of the General Laws, employed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and its Retirement System, shall be afforded the same rights, privileges, and preferences granted to any such veteran employed by the Commonwealth, or any of its agencies, authorities, commissions, or boards.
