In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to retirement contributions.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provisions of Chapter 32 of the General Laws to the contrary, no member of the state employees’ retirement system, the teachers’ retirement systems and all county, city and town contributory systems classified in Groups 1, 2 and 4 shall be required to make a retirement contribution totaling more than 9 per cent of their annual salary.
