Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subsection (f) of section 22 of chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2004 official edition is hereby amended by adding the following new paragraph: “The registrar shall promulgate regulations setting forth applicable periods of suspensions for particular offenses, and appropriate guidelines for hardship license eligibility subject to such terms and conditions as the registry may prescribe. Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to give the registrar the authority to suspend or revoke for a court finding other than a conviction, delinquent, or responsible finding, nor shall any other such finding be used in consideration for hardship eligibility.”
