In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act restricting the use of certain contracts. .

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. The General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

 

Every contract for a period longer than 90 days by which anyone is restrained from engaging in a lawful profession, trade, or business is to that extent void.
