In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to the taxable valuation of real property.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.Section 38 of chapter 59 of the General laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

                In any city or town which accepts this paragraph may set the taxable valuation in the amount of the most recent sale of the property.
