An Act relative to property tax exemptions for certain veterans. . |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 460 after the words “entering such service,” the words: -- “or who have resided in the commonwealth for any period of ten consecutive years,”.
SECTION 2. The provisions of this act shall be retroactive for the 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001 and 2000 tax years.
