In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to local property tax.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

A head of household whose gross annual income is less than $80,000 and whose local property tax bill is greater than the mean average for the state, shall be entitled to a rebate from the state in the amount of $200. This rebate shall not apply to anyone receiving a property tax rebate under any existing program.
