In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act Providing a Motor Vehicle Excise Exemption for Certain Members of the Military.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  A member of the Military forces of the United States who is serving in an area designated by the President of the United States by Executive order as a “combat zone” shall be exempt from the payment of motor vehicle excise imposed by Chapter

60A of the General Laws for any motor vehicle he has owned for 1 year or more.
