An Act to exempt fire and ambulance apparatus from bidding laws.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, subsection (b) of section 1 of chapter 30B of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following clause:--

(35) a contract to purchase firefighting and emergency medical apparatus and vehicles.
