 An Act establishing fees for electronic records.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 10(a) of chapter 66 of the general laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-

 

The fee for electronic public records held by municipalities shall be no more than two cents per record unless otherwise established by local ordinance.

 

SECTION 2.

 

This act shall take effect upon its passage.
