 An Act relative to default service charges.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   The last paragraph of section 94 of chapter 164 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:— Any utility company shall not assess a default service fee or charge to an existing customer who has previously moved within the past six months.
