In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to the protection of the electricity grid.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. No person shall engage in the repair, maintenance, installation or construction in any capacity whatsoever of the Utility Distribution System unless and until that person has undergone a security review conducted by the Department of Public Safety and has been certified in writing by that department. Such certification shall be in writing and shall be kept on file in the office of the Secretary of Public Safety.
