In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the Abraham Lincoln bicentennial.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   In recognition and observance of the bicentennial of president Abraham Lincoln in 2009 the Commonwealth through the secretary of state shall officially recognize this bicentennial with appropriate recognition, ceremonies, and education programs throughout the Commonwealth to include but not be limited to education forums at all public education institutions and any other forums deemed appropriate.  The secretary of state shall make available to all public and private entities all information necessary for this historic project.
