An Act relative to the licensing of school bus drivers.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   The second paragraph of section 8A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the fourth sentence the following paragraph: - All individuals licensed to transport school children for such certificate shall also have satisfactorily completed a Registry of Motor Vehicles approved Basic First Aid Course. Said Course shall be administered by a Registry of Motor Vehicle approved instructor.  Upon completion of the Course, the individual shall be covered by the provisions of section 55A of chapter 71.
