In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to the funding of the soundproofing program facilitated by the massachusetts port authority.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Port Authority is hereby authorized and directed to extend and fully fund their soundproofing program once the federal program appropriations have ceased and, until completion of such program, to appropriate equal matching funds for the community soundproofing program as appropriated by the federal government.
