In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the emergency call box system along the Commonwealth's interstate roadways.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The committee shall determine the effectiveness of this system.  This would include the potential for the system to give a motorist a false sense of security when accessed, whether technology including cell phones are a reasonable substitute; and whether the system if deemed ineffective, should remain in place or be dismantled.
