 An Act relative to the proper collection of tolls.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 4 of chapter 81A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 43, by striking out the word “accepted;” and inserting in place thereof the following:— “accepted.  The authority is directed to assess the maximum toll and a five dollar processing fee to first time violators who proceed through marked FastLane toll booths without the assigned transponder from the authority;”.
