In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to certain proposed development in the city of Newton.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the Department of Highways, the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority and the Department of Conservation and Recreation, acting jointly, are hereby authorized and directed to undertake a study relative to the Riverside T station and the area surrounding said station. Said study shall include, but not be limited to, proposed development of said area and its impact on the quality of life of residents of the area, transportation and traffic, and the feasibility of an intermodel transportation terminal. Said agencies shall in the conduct of said study hold at least one public hearing in a place accessible to the residents of said area.
