In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act designating Route 116 as a scenic byway corridor.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The state highway know as Route 116 located in the towns of Deerfield, Conway, Ashfield, Plainfield, Savoy, and Adams shall be designated a scenic byway corridor in order to recognize, interpret, preserve, and promote the unique scenic, cultural, archeological, natural, and recreational resources of Route 116 in the counties of Franklin, Hampshire and Berkshire through the development of a corridor management plan and accompanying public participation process.
